stayed up til 11 08 pm last night, hoping to wear myself out so I could sleep through the night. That worked out great; I was wide awake at 2 38 am. So, rather than waste the time, I will share with you a conversation I had with Jesus yesterday.
I speak with him throughout my day, and often can hear him quite clearly.
Yesterday he said to me” give me your pain, your suffering, your tears, your anxiety, your fear, your anger, your resentment, your heartache. Let me handle your situation. Focus on YOUR JOURNEY. Focus on rebuilding your business, focus on your children, on Ana; look forward, Mark. When you start to look backwards, say these two words, MY JOURNEY, and I will bring your eyes forward.
John 16:33 says
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
HE quoted this to me yesterday.
For those of you out there, trying to overcome a broken heart, take solace in this:
Jesus is our savior; Our redeemer.
He can handle our sorrow, when we cannot.
LET HIM HANDLE IT
Love eachother today

Hurricane Irma

After a week with no power we are finally back!
We had 2 tornadoes hit in our development, wiping out 100 yr old oak trees, taking
with them power line and transformers.
By the grace of God we were spared.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those
still without power and clean water.
Remember, no matter how bad things seem, there
is always someone who has it worse.
Please, Jesus, come to their aid.
Amen

Love Everyone Differently
– by Joyce Meyer

Unfortunately, sometimes we try to love others as if they are all the same.

You’ll find that not all people need the same thing from you. One of your children, for example, may need more of your personal time than another does. One friend may need more encouragement on a regular basis than another. Some people just need different forms of love.

Respecting individual preferences and opinions is also very important. Selfish people expect everyone to be like they are, but love respects the differences in people. If God had wanted all of us to be alike, He would not have given each of us a different set of fingerprints. I believe that fact alone proves we are created equal, but different.

We all have different gifts and talents, different likes and dislikes, different goals in life and different motivations. A loving person respects and encourages the differences in others.
