At least 50 dead, 400+ sent to hospitals in Las Vegas; shooting becomes deadliest in US history
\nAt least 50 people are dead, 406 sent to hospitals, after a gunman opened fire at a music festival in Las Vegas.
\nIt apparently was the deadliest shooting massacre in US history.
\nPolice say the gunman, Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nevada, is dead. He had no known connection to terrorism, according to NBC News.
\nThe shooting took place at the Route 91 Harvest music concert near the Mandalay Bay hotel.
\nInvestigators say they have located Marilou Danley, a woman who was traveling with Paddock, and hope to question her.
\nSome flights to McCarran International Airport were diverted and some were “temporarily halted”<\/p>\n
